We can now offer our patients in rooms ultrasound appointments on the same day as their consultation. Our Sonographer will be providing these services in our consulting rooms.
Arterial
- Carotid and vertebral arteries
- Abdominal arteries (AAA & EVAR)
- Arterial duplex leg
- Arterial duplex arm
- Renal and/or visceral
Venous
- Abdomino-pelvic veins
- DVT (arm or leg)
- Venous incompetence duplex leg
- Venous duplex arm
- Marking pre-op (varicose vein surgery)
- Pre-op Venous / Arterial Mapping / Marking
- AVF Arm post-op/surveillance
Ultrasound appointments can take between 15 to 90 minutes. A worksheet will be completed by the Sonographer and given to Dr Hockley to review and report on.
FEES
We bulk bill all vascular duplex scans if you hold a current Medicare card and GP referral on the day of your appointment.
All scans are reviewed and reported on by Dr Hockley.
